Reiki, which can be translated from the Japanese to mean ‘universal guided life force’, is a non-invasive holistic therapy that channels the natural energy which exists in all of us for the purpose of healing relaxation and wellbeing.

Reiki, a practice of natural healing, was developed by Dr Mikao Usui early in the 20th Century. The principles of Reiki as expressed by Dr Usui are:

Show gratitude for every living thing.

Reiki includes four Aspects and nine Elements within its practice. Research carried out in the 1980’s across a range of diverse subjects showed that positive results were obtained regardless of the participants beliefs.
